In the storyboard version, Plankton asks "So what happens after we shoot 'em?" and pretends to fire his jellyfish net like a rifle. SpongeBob responds "You don't shoot 'em!"[16] In the finished episode, the firearm references were removed; in the final episode, Plankton does still hold his net like a rifle, but does not pretend to fire it. Instead, he asks "So what happens after we eat 'em?"
